OF TRAILING PAIN
Not long after we met
I had an ominous feeling
that it was not going to last
that we
had to part ...
The child in me suspicious
and yet hoping against hope
as if
there will be a day
a miracle will show
and you will hurt me no more...
waiting, waiting, ...waiting!
Yes, not long after we met
I knew
we had to go our separate ways,
but
did you have to be so cruel? ...
Especially knowing
that there is a child in me?

Simple bt really too touching verse!
Infact everyone,whether in old age,has a CHILD inside and needs care&affection.
Sometimes childish feelings victimize us.

have you read Metaphysics and the law of creation/ materialization?.... It says that our strongest feelings definitely manifest themselves to reality.

// It says that our strongest feelings definitely manifest themselves to reality.//... yes, I believe that this is true for 'prayers' also. God listens to intense prayers, and if the prayer is still not answered, I believe that either my intensity fell short, or that God is saying "it is not meant to be" for me.
This poem refers to ominous feeling about a connection a few years ago.
What happens when there is no ominous feeling ? ... when there is not the slightest inkling of 'what is coming', and a sincere/honest relationship withdraws all of a sudden ?
I know this feeling as I have experienced it recently ... it feels like a lightening bolt, it is heart-breaking, especially if a person has been sensitive, honest, sincere, prayerful, caring, self-introspective, has seen years of life, and yet cannot find answers to what and why it happened.... but continues with internal struggle (in vacuum) to find the answers. And the answers can come only from one person.
